Coburn’s Cattle Oiler features a built in flexible tank and wicking system, which saturates the
outer fabric and mop cords. Oiler may be
used with any oil bases insecticide.
Using an oiler with dairy cattle, beef, calves and hogs helps control
flies , lice and biting insects.
Directions for Installation: Insert a wood board through the pocket running along the top
of the oiler. The oiler may then be suspended from a ceiling, doorway, tree
limb, etc. Oiler must be level and hung so the back of the animal will make
contact with the bottom of the tank. Use a funnel and fill the tank with
oil-based insecticide. Secure oiler to wood board using screws or nails.
Suggestions:
Tank must be full for
initial use or when re-saturating your oiler.
• Saturate the outside of the oiler before use.
• A watering can is helpful to saturate the outer
fabric and mop cords.
• For best results keep oiler level.
Small Oiler (36” wide x 40”
high) holds approximately 3 gallons.
