Inoculation
loops( also known as smear loops) are a simple tool used to take and transfer
a small sample of a microorganism culture
for stripping on a culture plate. The
tool consists of thin handle with a loop at the end. The loops are smooth and flexible to
facilitate the formation of uniform streaks without damaging the gel surface.
