TheraCaf Plus from Calf Solutions is an electrolyte with added functional proteins and yeast extract formulated for use during periods of stress. It optimizes gut health and improves hydration with functional proteins and yeast extract. Sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate, sodium acetate and potassium citrate help to stabilize blood pH (metabolic acidosis is associated with dehydration).

Calf Care Recommendations:

Feed large breed calves 4 quarts of high quality colostrum within 2 hours of birth and again 12 hours later. Adjust amount for small breed calves.

● Begin feeding milk replacer or pasteurized whole milk on day two.

● Begin feeding calf starter free-choice in the first week. Feed a small amount at first and replace daily.

● Provide fresh, clean water at all times.

● Calves can be weaned from milk successfully when intake of calf starter reaches 2 pounds daily for 3 consecutive days.

● Environmental conditions may alter feeding rate. See your nutritionist for details.
